In fact, statistics show otherwise. When it comes to driving, men are a much more risky bet, and insurance premiums reflect that. Despite official figures identifying male motorists as a greater threat on the roads, plenty of men still believe their female counterparts are worse behind the wheel. Sainsbury's Finance found that two-thirds of motorists admitted to engaging in some form of dangerous activity while driving in the past month - with an estimated 10.3 million male drivers, compared with 8.7 million females who did the same. But a good indication of who is a safer driver can be gleaned from looking at insurance premiums.

The level of antibodies that has developed among the high-risk groups is not sufficient to control the infection and break the transmission of the virus, said Dr A C Mishra, Director of National Institute of Virology (NIV).

A study conducted by NIV shows that the risk of infection (seropositivity) was highest among schoolchildren during 2009 and those among the 15-19 age group were badly affected. While the good news is that this young population has developed antibodies against the virus, scientists are concerned that a higher level of immunity is required before the transmission can be broken.

WHO Director-General Dr. Margaret Chan announced Aug. 10 that the H1N1 virus is now in the post-pandemic period, according to the website. More people across the globe have developed some immunity to the virus.

Last year, the swine flu followed an unusual pattern by breaking out in the summer. This year, WHO predicts swine flu cases will follow the pattern of a more typical seasonal flu. However, H1N1 still exists throughout the world.

The group, which works as a prevention and intervention service for at-risk kids and teens, offers the classes year-round, and the next installment is set to begin Sept. 13. The classes are free, with a supplemental book available for $10.

She describes herself as a cardio girl, but she's no gym rat. She doesn't count calories, but the 31-year-old maintains a normal weight and is conscious about what she eats, especially now that she is five months pregnant.

From the beginning, Hendrick was full of questions about the changes in her body. Most of all, she wanted to know what was normal when it came to weight gain and exercise.

"Whatever I do, I want it to be beneficial to me and the baby," says Hendrick, of Walnut Creek.

All expectant mothers want the best for their developing babies. But "normal" is not the same for everyone. How much weight you should gain during pregnancy depends on if you were underweight or overweight at conception. It is the same with exercise levels. Ultimately, experts say pregnant women should listen to their bodies and consult with their doctors.

In an analysis of more than 45,000 patients, the researchers found that patients with abnormal fatty deposits in an artery were at highest risk if they had a prior history of heart attack or other emergencies linked to an artery blockage.
